Leadership

Steve Davis came to Louisburg Baptist Church in 2025 looking for a new house of worship to call home.  Steve was recently the Pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church when he retired in 2025.  Steve and his wife joined our church as members shortly afterward.  As Steve said "My plan was to retire, but obviously God had a different plan!"  He is joined by his wife 'Pat' who is a retired nurse.    

Brian Miller came to LBC in 2008 as Organist.  He was called as Director of Music in October of 2024. Brian has served in music ministry for 30 years now.  Brian's wealth of knowledge in church music, authors, and stories behind the songs makes for an interesting conversation piece.  Brian comes from the great town of Gastonia, N.C. where he was raised most of his childhood in Temple Baptist Church. Brian has taught band in Franklin County for nearly 30 years.  Brian also is the conductor of the Vance-Granville Community Band.    In his free time, Brian loves traveling abroad and seeing old historic church buildings, old church organs, and old pianos.  

Michelle Harris is our Children's Ministry Director.  Michelle is a retired art teacher of 30+ years in public school education.  Michelle is a native of Franklin County and was raised in LBC.  

Jackie Ayscue is our church secretary.  She along with her family are active members of  New Sandy Creek Baptist Church, in Henderson NC.
